On March 14, 2002, C&C Reservoirs hosted the Customer Advisory Board planning meeting at Marathon. Seventeen people representing twelve companies attended the planning meeting, where Mr. Ivor Kaklins of Qittitut Consulting helped to facilitate the meeting agenda. The meeting was held to assess the general use of geological analogues in the E&P business, in particular the use of digital analogues systems. Emphasis was placed on determining the merits and effectiveness of using an analogue approach in field development and exploration.
